Winter flu vaccine rollout begins. Who's eligible?
Public Health Scotland has started its winter flu vaccination programme. Pregnant women, people aged 65 and over, those with eligible health conditions, carers, and health workers are among those eligible. Last year, almost 5,000 adults in Scotland were hospitalised with flu. NHS Scotland will contact eligible people by post, email, or text. Children aged two to secondary school age receive a nasal spray.
