What’s in your cat’s food? New investigation finds lead and other toxins
A Clean Label Project investigation tested 100 top-selling cat foods from 62 brands and found lead in 99%, cadmium in 96% and arsenic in 94% of samples. The nonprofit also detected glyphosate, mercury and phthalates across wet, dry and freeze-dried products, including premium and natural labels. The report was released Friday and provided exclusively to CNN.
