Mom Sends Five Videos To Confirm What's Real, Including Mandela's Elephant Ride
A mother sends her adult child five videos to verify: Mick Jagger dying mid-song on a BBC broadcast nobody reported, Nelson Mandela riding an elephant down Fifth Avenue, a two-mile water slide wrapping Big Ben and ejecting riders near the Shard, and Steve Irwin playing a King Cobra like a saxophone. She also floats asylum seekers arriving on mega yachts, which her child talks her out of posting to Facebook. The piece frames this as a generational AI-literacy gap, where mothers forward generative slop to their children for a reality check before sharing it.
