Singapore government launches its own dating app to match its civil servants

Singapore's Public Service Division has launched a pilot matchmaking service exclusively for civil servants. The app uses the 'stable marriage' algorithm developed by Lloyd Shapley and Alvin Roth, work that won the 2012 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. Participation is voluntary and limited to government employees during the pilot phase. Officials describe it as a welfare initiative aimed at helping staff find long-term partners, though no completion target or expansion timeline has been announced.
