Airbus A350F takes it first flight
Airbus's A350F freighter took off from Toulouse, France, at 10:30am CET for its maiden flight. The aircraft, designed to carry 111 tonnes of payload over 4,700 nautical miles, begins a flight-test campaign of about 400 hours after five years of development. It combines A350-900 and A350-1000 sections and uses Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.
