Google's updated privacy policy adds an exception for using your Gmail and Photos data in AI features
Google updated its privacy policy on October 16th to add a clause allowing personal data from Gmail, Drive and Google Photos to be used for personalized ads if users opt into AI features. The change was spotted by Android Authority. Previously, Google promised not to use that data for ads. The update means anyone connecting those services to AI Mode and other Search tools could see targeted ads based on their content.
