'Star Wars: Galactic Racer' has the best Star Wars Metacritic score in 23 years

'Star Wars: Galactic Racer' has become the highest-rated Star Wars game on Metacritic in 23 years, drawing praise from IGN, Game Informer and StarWars.com. The Verge's reviewer called it a childhood podracing dream realised, while Forbes framed the score as a rare win for a franchise whose recent releases have been panned. Players are now racing, crashing and generally having a good time for the first time since the early 2000s.
