Denver Opens First Housing for Homeless College Students

Depaul USA opened Denver's first student residence for college students experiencing homelessness on September 24, 2026, in a renovated 1890s duplex in North Capitol Hill near the Capitol. The Dax Program house shelters up to 15 students, expanding its national network to roughly 110 students a year.
