Met Police officer charged after BBC Charing Cross investigation
Sgt Sadiq Al-Hasani, 37, of the Met's Central West Command Unit, was charged on 13 August with perverting the course of justice over an incident on 2 October 2025. He is the first person charged after a BBC Panorama undercover investigation at Charing Cross police station. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
