OpenAI takes on Microsoft with the launch of what feels a whole lot like ChatGPT's own office suite

At its Dev Day conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, OpenAI announced ChatGPT features built for office work, including Space, a shared workspace where colleagues collaborate with the chatbot and with Dots, its new AI agent personas. It also rolled out Pages, a word processor for "human and agent collaboration," and collaborative slides that users generate by talking. The tools mirror Microsoft Word, Google Docs and PowerPoint, as Microsoft and Salesforce race to add OpenAI-style AI to their own products.
