Keshav Maharaj clubbed 31 off 19 balls

Keshav Maharaj, a specialist left-arm spinner, took over as a batter during a Test innings and belted 31 runs off just 19 deliveries. Coming in as a lower-order bowler who normally bats at number eight or nine, he scored at a strike rate of 163, treating the bowling attack like a top-order batter. The knock was the standout lower-order contribution of the match and left fans on social media stunned that a bowler had outscored the specialist batsmen.
