Sylvester Stallone Wants Amazon to Let Him Recut Rocky V

Sylvester Stallone is lobbying Amazon to let him re-edit Rocky V, the 1990 fifth installment he has spent decades calling "a thorn in my side." The actor, who wrote and directed the film, has repeatedly blamed studio interference for the final product, in which Rocky loses his fortune and his protégé turns on him. Amazon, which now owns the MGM library including the Rocky rights, has not responded publicly to the request.
