Verstappen wins relocated Bahrain GP at rain-hit Sepang, ahead of Antonelli and Hamilton

Max Verstappen won his first race of the 2026 season, taking victory at a Bahrain Grand Prix held at Malaysia's Sepang circuit after the race was relocated. Rain, organisational problems and technical failures disrupted the event, with Kimi Antonelli finishing second and Lewis Hamilton recovering to complete the podium in third. The odd venue swap and the weather chaos dominated coverage of the weekend, while Alpine endured a quiet, anonymous race well outside the points.
