Secret flights that created a Roosters star

An NRL investigation has raised questions about how the Sydney Roosters recruited a young player, with reports alleging the club arranged covert travel to bring the teenager into its system ahead of rival clubs. The arrangements, described as secret flights, are central to scrutiny over whether the Roosters gained an unfair advantage in signing him. The player has since developed into a first-grade star. Officials have not confirmed what, if any, rules were breached, and no sanctions have been announced.
