Joe Manganiello reveals massive dragon tattoo covering his surgery scars from mystery illness

Actor Joe Manganiello revealed a three-foot dragon tattoo on his right side, which he got to cover scars from 2016 emergency intestinal surgery. The 49-year-old shared images of the ink on Instagram, explaining the design represents his battle with a near-fatal autoimmune disease. He detailed his recovery in his new memoir, Bloodlines, noting he lost 60 pounds in the two weeks following the operation.
