Christiane Amanpour to Leave CNN After 43 Years

Veteran journalist Christiane Amanpour announced Monday she is leaving CNN after 43 years, with her daily show ending in December and a weekly program continuing through June. The move comes weeks after CNN's parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, was acquired by Paramount Skydance, raising concerns about newsroom independence. Amanpour, 68, did not give a reason for her departure.
