Crunchyroll Scores Major Win Over Netflix With Dragon Ball Super: Beerus

Crunchyroll has secured streaming rights to Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, beating Netflix to the title. The film, featuring the God of Destruction Beerus, joins Crunchyroll's expanding anime catalogue as the platform continues competing with Netflix for exclusivity deals on major Japanese titles. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Netflix, which has been investing heavily in anime, loses a high-profile title as Crunchyroll consolidates its position as the dominant anime streaming service.
