the robot can feel 0.08 mm. it still can't feel underpaid.
Robot hand trained by master embroiderer learns 2,500-year-old silk craft
Agilink, a spin-off of Chinese robotics firm AgiBot, had master Suzhou embroiderer Fu Xianghong train its OmniHand 3 Ultra to perform the 2,500-year-old craft. The hand splits a silk thread into 16 strands, threads a needle, stretches fabric on a frame and stitches, using vision-based fingertip sensors that detect deformations of 0.08 mm and a palm sensor with 300 contact points. The hand weighs 630 g, holds 3 kg, lifts 8 kg and repeats positions to within 0.2 mm. Agilink has not named the exact model shown.
