Strictly's first elimination: Chris and Amy in tears as they're voted out

Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden became the first pair eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after losing the dance-off to Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu. Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke all voted to save Winstone and Gu, and Craig Revel Horwood said he agreed. Dowden, who also went out first last year, called it heartbreak; Appleton said he had a friend for life.
