Chinese great-grandfather, 101, defies ageing with daily diet of Coke, Sprite, seafood

Lu Shizeng, a 101-year-old great-grandfather in Zhejiang province, eastern China, has gone viral for drinking large amounts of Coca-Cola and Sprite daily alongside seafood. His habits run directly against China's youth-led health trend of low-sugar diets, traditional-medicine-inspired food and daily footbaths, yet he reports leading a happy, healthy life. Commenters online reacted with a mix of disbelief and amusement at the centenarian's defiance of conventional diet advice.
