a movie about a corporation promising to fix a broken product: very cyberpunk

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a movie at Paramount

Paramount is developing a film adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077, the open-world sci-fi RPG from Polish studio CD Projekt Red. Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is attached to produce, with CD Projekt Red co-producing as franchise rights holder. No director, cast or release date has been announced. The game shipped in December 2020 riddled with bugs, was pulled from the PlayStation Store for six months, and later rebuilt its reputation through the anime spinoff Edgerunners and the 2.0 update.
