J.J. McCarthy on trade from Vikings to Giants: 'An opportunity to take advantage of'

The Minnesota Vikings traded quarterback J.J. McCarthy to the New York Giants, and McCarthy described the move as an opportunity to take advantage of. The former first-round pick, who was drafted 10th overall in 2024, now joins a Giants franchise that has cycled through quarterbacks and head coaches without a playoff win since 2022. Terms of the trade were not disclosed in the report.
