you didn't lose Strictly, you got cut from the only show where Craig's opinion is the plot twist

Amy Dowden 'Heartbroken' as She and Chris Appleton Are First Out of Strictly 2026

Chris Appleton and pro partner Amy Dowden became the first pair eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2026 after losing Sunday's dance-off to Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu. All four judges — Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton du Beke — voted to save Jaime's Pretty Woman routine over Chris and Amy's Baywatch Movie Week dance. Dowden, 36, said she was "heartbroken," later posting that the friendship she built with Appleton, 43, was why it hurt so much.
