Cavan Sullivan becomes youngest USMNT scorer in rout of Mexico

Cavan Sullivan, a 16-year-old midfielder, became the youngest scorer in USMNT history during a friendly win over Mexico. The U.S. ran up a lopsided scoreline as the teenager finished off a move that had the stadium on its feet, handing Mauricio Pochettino's young squad a statement result against their biggest rival. The performance immediately reframed expectations for the next cycle of American men's soccer.
