Meta launches enterprise AI platform, hires MongoDB CEO to lead new initiative
Meta announced Monday it is launching the Meta Enterprise Platform, an AI business unit led by newly hired Chirantan "CJ" Desai, the CEO of MongoDB. The platform will sell Meta's AI stack — including its Muse assistant, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code — to companies and developers. MongoDB's shares fell more than 17 percent on Desai's sudden exit; the board named former CEO Dev Ittycheria as interim chief while it searches for a permanent replacement.
