Spotify targets 2027 launch for AI remix service, FT reports
Spotify plans to launch an AI-powered remix service in early 2027, possibly around the Grammy Awards, according to the Financial Times. The feature would let subscribers pay an extra $4-$5 monthly to create AI versions of songs. Spotify has licensing deals with Universal Music Group, Merlin, and Believe, but is still negotiating with Sony Music and Warner Music.
