Reimer signs one-year contract with Rangers, returns to NHL at age 38

The New York Rangers signed goaltender James Reimer to a one-year contract, bringing the 38-year-old back to the NHL. Reimer, who spent last season with the Buffalo Sabres, provides veteran depth behind Igor Shesterkin. The move comes amid questions about the Rangers' goaltending pipeline and follows the team's recent signing of another veteran netminder.
