U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln Returns Home After Long and Grueling Deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln returned to its home port after nearly 11 months at sea, one of the longest carrier deployments in recent memory. The crew spent much of that time in combat operations, facing food shortages and no days off. The carrier left with about 5,000 sailors aboard and returned to Naval Base Coronado, where families waited on the pier.
