Lance Bass reveals shockingly low amount he claims he earned while in *NSYNC
Lance Bass said on The Zach Sang Show that *NSYNC paid him a $35 daily per diem and that the group's first check, after years of No. 1 albums and sellout tours, was $10,000. He claimed he saw little of the merchandise money, that his residuals today are small, and that the label and late manager Lou Pearlman made most of the fortune. Pearlman was convicted of money laundering, bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy in 2008 and died in prison in 2016.
