Senator caught sucking his thumb in public, sparking online reaction
A sitting U.S. senator was photographed in a public setting with his thumb in his mouth, and the images spread rapidly across social media within hours. Neither the senator's office nor his party has issued a statement, and no explanation for the gesture has been offered. Commentators on both sides spent the day debating whether the moment was stress, habit, or simply a man who assumed the cameras were pointed elsewhere.
