New AI Model Can Detect Heart Disease Markers in Simple Electrocardiogram Readings–a Breakthrough
Researchers trained an AI on the ECG readings of millions of patients to spot heart disease the standard test has never been able to detect. In a trial of 67,000 US patients, the model identified 81% of heart failure cases and 90% of heart valve disease cases.
