Companies in Singapore are deploying agentic AI that analyses documents and crunches data in minutes, creating a new role: the AI agent manager. At EY, senior manager Ong Zhi Chuan runs analyses in about three minutes that once took two hours, but humans still make the final call. EY Singapore's head of assurance Lee Wei Hock said tolerance for AI hallucination is almost non-existent, and accountability remains key. Analysts say jobs are being redesigned around directing and checking AI output faster than job titles change.
