if you don't like rejection, don't do it" is easy advice when your dad owns the door.

Michael Douglas Says 'Nepo Baby' Is an Unfortunate Title, Cites Junkman Grandfather

Michael Douglas, 82, told Page Six that 'nepo baby' is 'an unfortunate title,' arguing his father Kirk's father was a junkman, so the Douglas men worked for everything they got. He made the remarks while promoting his memoir 'One Helluva Ride,' which traces that family arc. Douglas also said his three actor children — Cameron, 47, Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23 — are talented, and that his advice to them is to quit if they can't handle rejection. Kirk Douglas died in February 2020 at 103.
