Haas boss Komatsu lashes out at 'nonsense' Bearman salary rumours

Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu angrily denied reports that Oliver Bearman's camp was demanding a six million euro salary, calling the claims invented to generate clicks. He insisted both sides want to extend the 21-year-old's contract, which expires at the end of the season, but declined to specify what is holding up the announcement. Bearman finished fourth in Mexico last year, matching Haas's best-ever result.
