Desmond targeted by Celtic fan protest at Alfred Dunhill
Tennis balls bearing images of Dermot Desmond's face were thrown onto the 15th green at the Alfred Dunhill Links tournament in St Andrews, forcing the Celtic shareholder to be escorted off by security. The Celtic Fans Collective claimed responsibility, saying supporters wanted to show that his running of the club cannot continue.
