Pocognoli backs Scotland strikers for 'must-win' game against Slovenia
Sebastien Pocognoli has publicly backed Scotland's forwards ahead of their must-win qualifier against Slovenia, calling the game decisive for the campaign. The Belgian coach's endorsement arrives with Scotland's strikers under heavy scrutiny after a run of blunt, low-xG performances. A defeat in Ljubljana would effectively end Scotland's qualification hopes, leaving Pocognoli's faith in the front line as the team's most optimistic asset going into the match.
