Shopify announced Tuesday that any AI agent, not just Meta's Muse, can now browse and purchase from its catalog of over a billion listings, both on and off Shopify storefronts. Shoppers connect an agent to their account and configure it to buy on their behalf, no partnership integration required. The move expands Shopify's agentic commerce push, which began with a September Meta deal.
