Sony announces QSSR, an AMD-built AI upscaler for PS5, launching with Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced QSSR, an AI upscaling technology developed with AMD, available today for the standard PS5 rather than only the PS5 Pro. The first supported titles are Marvel's Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei, which receive it via a same-day update, and existing games can add support through patches. Sony says the system improves image quality on base hardware without requiring the more expensive Pro model.
