Shane Gillis’ ‘SNL’ Monologue Slammed as Sexist for Comments About Women

Comedian Shane Gillis faced widespread online backlash after his Saturday Night Live monologue included a remark that he did not know women dressed like whores at the gym. Critics, including actor Dan Levy, condemned the comment as misogynistic, particularly given the ongoing national conversation about sexual assault following the Cornell University case. Gillis, who has a history of controversial jokes, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
