The People of Utah vs. Kevin O'Leary

Kevin O'Leary, the celebrity investor, announced on Fox Business on May 11th that Chinese agents were behind the backlash against his Wonder Valley data center project in Box Elder County, Utah. The project—a 9-gigawatt data center on 40,000 acres north of the Great Salt Lake—had just been approved by three county commissioners. O'Leary claimed he traced critical IP addresses to China, but six weeks later he clarified he had no evidence linking China to groups like Alliance for a Better Utah. The project, now called Stratos, has stalled as Utah lawmakers prepare data center regulations.
