Blue Planet III uses cloudier footage to prove its animals aren't AI

The BBC's Blue Planet III, narrated by David Attenborough, deliberately includes cloudier, less polished footage to reassure viewers that its animals are real and not AI-generated, producers said. The series returns nearly a decade after Blue Planet II and 25 years after the original, with new technology including an underwater CCTV camera dubbed 'stonefish cam'. It aims to balance cutting-edge visuals with a more organic look.
