Karan Johar's diversity hire: the one South Indian he forgot to tag.

'Discriminated for being South Indian': actress Regina Cassandra hits out at Karan Johar

Actress Regina Cassandra alleged that Dharma Productions sidelined her during promotions for 'Kesari Chapter 2' despite her prominent role, omitting her name from publicity and not tagging her in social media posts for a song she appeared in. She also said she faced discrimination in North India for being a South Indian actress, and criticised attempts to frame cinema's objectification debate as a North-South issue. She will next appear in 'Mookuthi Amman 2'.
