Accountability

Corrections should be easy to find

How to report

Use the correction link on a story, the contact form, or email supportjester@gmail.com. Include the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a reliable source supporting the correction.

Response workflow

We preserve the report, check the cited source and the sources used by the story, and classify the issue as factual, contextual, visual, attribution, safety, or style. A clear factual or safety problem is corrected or removed as soon as it is confirmed. We aim to acknowledge complete reports within 48 hours.

Visible update timestamps

Story pages display published and updated times. A silent spelling or formatting repair may only change the updated time. A correction that changes meaning also receives a note explaining what changed.

Material-correction note

A material-correction note stays with the story and states the earlier error, the corrected information, and the correction date. If the premise of a cartoon is false, the page is removed or replaced rather than leaving the misleading joke in circulation.

Disagreements

Not every dispute is an error. Satirical opinion can be sharp and still be opinion. We will explain that distinction, but sourced factual claims remain open to correction.
